Zach Burgert

Zach graduated from Utah State University (USU) in 2020 with a B.S. in Management & Restoration of Aquatic Ecosystems. During his undergraduate, Zach completed a minor in GIS and worked on three separate research projects with faculty members of the Watershed Sciences Department. After taking a year off, Zach decided to return to USU in 2021 and completed a Master’s of Ecological Restoration in 2022.

Zach's work interests include GIS mapping and collecting drone imagery. Outside work, he enjoys hiking during the summer months and occasional cross-country skiing in the winter.
