Sarah Witt

RESTORATION TECHNICIAN

Sarah is a grassroots educator, California desert naturalist, and outdoor recreation enthusiast who values a hands-on, exploratory approach to how we perceive and interact with the world around us. Sarah's formal education and professional background is in visual and culinary arts, and her curious nature has lured her down many professional rabbit holes in a non-linear fashion. Most recently she's enjoyed working as an interpretive hiking guide in Joshua Tree National Park, and in her free time she can be found smearing her way up monzogranite boulders or volunteering with local non-profits. Sarah is excited to expand her understanding of how human activity shapes our landscapes and alters ecological processes, and to contribute to conservation projects that aim to restore health and achieve balance in the natural environment.
