Josh Scherrer

LEAD RESTORATION TECHNICIAN

Josh received his BS from MIT in Civil and Environmental Engineering. His passion for water resources led him away from hard infrastructure to a variety of ecological restoration and research jobs throughout the US. This included everything from studying plant water use in South Western Georgia, to conducting prescribed burns with The Nature Conservancy in Minnesota, and to educating the next generation of environmentally conscious young people in Northern California.

In his free time, Josh enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, drone photography, whatever wood working and crafting life on the road allows, and walking around new cities. He is always looking for podcast and book recommendations related to history, botany, ecology, natural resource management, urban planning, or anything else you happen to find interesting.
