Amanda grew up in Manassas, Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Tech in the spring of 2023 with a major in environmental conservation and society, and a minor in forestry. One semester, Amanda studied abroad in Tanzania and studied wildlife management. Her most recent jobs were working with kids at a summer camp for a couple summers as well as in outdoor education this past fall. Currently, Amanda is figuring out what route of conservation she would like to pursue. She is interested in wetland restoration and is excited to see what she will learn and experience this summer.
